I am 40 years old and recently got married for the second time to a wonderful guy. Trent* did not have any children and we discussed having the reversal and felt it was risky but important. I had my tubes tied (cut & burned) several years earlier. Doctors said my chances of getting pregnant was almost none, especially at 40, the chances are much lower. Dr. Greene was referred to us by a family friend, who had gotten pregnant after surgery at Dr. Greenes clinic. We live in Florida so we drove to Georgia to have the surgery. Dr. Greene said I would have a 50-50 chance of getting pregnant considering my age as well. We tried for more than a year and had two miscarriages. I decided to give up, we were so discouraged. I stopped buying pregnancy tests and then I became pregnant in September of 2006. We were shocked because we stopped trying and it just happened. Dr. Greene said thats when it usually happens when you relax. The pregnancy went well with no complications. I reached 40 weeks, and on her due date, July 5, 2007, Mattie* was born, 7lbs and 6 oz. She was a beautiful little girl and very healthy. Dr. Greenes office was wonderful and Im glad I had the surgery. It changed our lives. At first impression of Dr. Green is one of arrogance. He reminds me of Dr. House from the TV show, very arrogant, but knowledgeable. With Dr. Greenes success rate, I guess he has the right to be arrogant. Thank you Dr. Greene.
